This year’s gift wrapping party was a tremendous success. There were 26 of Santa’s elves in Schuyler hall wrapping the gifts for the children in detention. And did we ever have a lot to wrap. Each child will receive a book, a journal, gloves, a warm hat, a T-shirt, and some candy.

Thanks to everyone who donated gift cards, basketballs, clothing items, and money so that we could brighten the Holidays for the children who happen to be in detention at this time.

And a special thanks to Mary Jane Kuhn for the delicious lunch for the volunteers (see her butternut squash soup recipe here!). The generosity of all those who donated is much appreciated. Happy Holidays.
